Printers

Hello, hoping you lovely people could help.
What printers would you recommend for card making? Just a generic printer that takes card? Or a specific one?
Also I'm looking to print onto fabric, well the iron on matterial, does this have a specific name? Can i do this with a generic printer, using the specialist paper?
and again to make stickers?

Sorry I am hopeless with technical names of things.

thanks loads in advance

  • I have an HP 1050a with a rear paper feed, it means I can print on to heavier card than if you get a printer which has a front paper feed and rollers for the card / paper to go round!! Any printer with a rear paper feed should be OK but you can always take some thicker card and ask for a demo in the shop!!

I don't agree that any printer with rear feed will work, I have an Epson rear feed printer and it won't accept anything other than thin copy paper.
