I wouldn't be surprised if Argos start to lose profits soon if my experiences trying to buy from their website is an indicator of how shoddily they operate in general. On two occasions over he last two months I have abandoned large online orders with Argos because their website won't allow me to log in and complete my purchase because it doesn't recognise my details despite my having shopped with them before. When this first happened I called there rubbish customer services and was told they were experiences a lot of online traffic and to try again a few hours later. Needless to say I gave up after three more attempts and went to Jon Lewis.com which was as easy as pie to use. This time I wanted o buy a Coffee maker from Argos and I can't get past the page to enter the delivery details. Emailing customer services is impossible as the online email form requires an order number with I don't have because the order can't be completed. Hello again John Lewis:T.:rotfl::T goodbye Argos  my time and money is better spent elsewhere with a retailer who is able to make the shopping experience less annoying than Argos.

No idea why but I can't see myself using this part of the board as a guide as to which shares to buy & sell! :rotfl:0 -

I had problems with their website before Christmas, but they were short-lived and it seems to be working well now. I've just placed a reservation online in the last few minutes.0

Only because the OP said she went to JonLewis.com to get her shopping after she couldn't order it from Argos.

No she didn't - try reading the wall of text again. Then try and understand Shaun's subtle response.0 -

She said she was going to Jon Lewis.com .... So someone said they would buy shares in JonLewis.com [sic], and then Shaun took the Michael out of the (OP's) spelling....
I thought both replies (the shares and the music) were funny... But now I feel like I in fact missed the joke.0
