Battle with BG part 2
My mother received a very condecending letter yesterday explaing it was not their fault that her prepayment meter was in debt as these meters can not adjust themselves but she can go on a payment plan or they will forceably enter her home. I phoned them and was told it is Scottish Powers fault as they own the meter i.e installed it on behalf of BG so as they own it they should have increased it for BG everytime BG had a price increase in the last few years !!!!!!!!! What rubbish but I phoned Scottish Power and they quite rightly said we maybe put the meter in for BG but it is their responsibility to update it!!!! Does BG think all it's users are idiots. I am also fed up getting call to my home up to 5 times a day from their international number demanding payment and when I point out it is in dispute via Energy Watch and that the A/C is on hold untill the 14th of next month they cut me off. Then phone again a couple of hour later. This starts at 8am and the latest so far is 9.30pm ahhhhh. They phone me as she has no phone and will be in hospital very soon.
