Oh, and I hope you are joking about carrier bags rolling around the kitchen like tumbleweed. I have about 20 carrier bags and they fit in a small ice-cream tub in a drawer, thanks to the whole samosa thing.
You are thinking about gentleman vegetables again, aren't you Lilt? Sheesh, I need a better class of visitor :rotfl:.0 -
LMAO
I'm a classy bird indeed.... (she says listening to the coked up next door neighbour harping on in his awful cockney... I need to move!)
Maybe not tumbleweed... Maybe most of them are down the back of the washing machine, and jammed into the space between the machine and the work surface above it...:o There is only tumbleweed where Jellytot is involved
and it normally includes Alphabet shapes and frozen peas... My poor kitchen...

I must admit that although I am very far removed from a domestic goddess, I could not cope with having carrier bags jammed into a gap under the counter-top. It would bug me every time I laid eyes on it.
Really, samosa them and pop them into a small container, you will be happier every time you see the empty space above your washing machine, I guarantee it.
And think of all the fun you'll have with those naughty samosas images in your head.

Trust me, it is a bugbear that I deal with simply because I use 3-4 a day, recycle them and then drag them out again the next day. I do want to organise them. Maybe I could keep 4 balled up and the rest samosa'd
and you should see my kitchen. I am a bit of a goddess in there. I can lay my hands on any herb or spice in seconds (and I have about 70!) - my draining board doubles as a mirror, as does the hob :rotfl:
We all have OCD about the oddest things don't we...

We do indeed - I can be a complete slob about some things but other things, I can't stand it, I have to have them just so.
Your kitchen sounds waaaaay cleaner than mine, Lilt. I too am good on the herbs and spices but my draining board could never do mirror duty.

Gentleman vegetables _pale_
Lilt - you really need some carrier bag samosas in your life, believe me
My kitchen is completely minging! It has artex on the walls - WHY?? WHY??? All the dirt clings to it. It drives me insane. Plus it was born in the 1960s so is just rubbish generally.
P&F - I don't think any amount of money would make you want to do my garden!
But HUGE congratulations for being under £13k - that is fantastic :T :T :T :T"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
i have artex kitchen walls too. I have repainted EVERYWHERE else except there. I get cold feet everytime I think of prepping the greasy walls for painting...
I still haven't samosa'dmaybe tomorrow!!
p&f amazing news about being under 13k!!! Well done!!! xx

Hope all is well P&F
Thanks, Jwil - all is very well. February was just crazy-busy and you know what it's like when you fall out of the habit of coming on MSE.
However, February is drawing to a close and much has been achieved. I am hoping things will calm down now for a few months and I can settle into my gentle routine of gardening, with a bit of Kondo-ing and hopefully some decorating thrown in.
2015 is finally THE year that the house gets decluttered - if we reach December and it's not decluttered, you can all come and find me and make me eat this old cardie I'm wearing.
I am also making some progress at work but will need to decide in the next few months or so whether to stay or whether to go.
Off now to catch up on everyone else's diaries.
