Hi all
,
I have a very productive weekend in the garden, got lots of done. I'm quite pleased with myself because I am ahead of the game this year, getting stuff done that I often don't start doing until March :T.
I want to try and get lots of the dross work out of the way so I can concentrate on growing stuff when the time comes. There is, unfortunately, rather a lot of dross work left to do but at least I've made a start.
I am now going to spend a happy hour or so looking through my stock of seeds and deciding what to grow this year - good times.
Be back tomorrow.0 -

Ha ha, binned a plant pot, you've excelled yourself :rotfl:.
If you want the place to look better, I would start by weeding any flower beds and cutting the edges of the beds properly so they look neat. If you have shrubs, look up the best times to prune them if they need it. You can always buy some summer bedding to fill up some space in May, if you are sure there will be no more frosts but it's amazing how much better the place looks with just a bit of tidying up. And mowing the lawn, that makes a huge difference as well but you won't want to do that for a good while yet.

Samosas... I thought they were another word for gentleman vegetables. Now I am mystified by this manner of folding. I would never find any of my carrier bags if they weren't balled up rolling around the kitchen like tumbleweed!! :rotfl:

Errrr, not round 'ere they're not ..... come to think of it, I've never before even heard the term 'gentleman vegetables' - honestly the things you learn on MSE :rotfl:.0 -
It's going to be one of those weeks where there's not even time to draw breath - life is just sooooooo busy at the moment. I want to get on with Kondo-ing my stuff but it's hard to find the time. I plan to get started on my clothes at the weekend, though I already grabbed some stuff and took it to the charity shop on Monday.
Anyway, it's payday and my debt has now dipped below the 13K mark, which is a cause for celebration :j. Still a vast sum of money but I feel I am breaking the back of it, and also getting so much better a grip on my finances. I am never in panic mode these days, despite a few large bills making their way to me lately.
This month I already had a bit of money in my account before my salary hit - now THAT is a good feeling :T.
On the minus side, I have still not listed anything on ebay. I have traded in some more books on amazon and also listed a few books for quite nice sums so I hope something comes of that.
Anyway, off to read my book for a little while before going off to sleep - have a nice Thursday everyone.
