LOL I went and informed the Principle of my school today about this offer as we always get the kids in our school an Easter egg for best attendance and any achievements one. We weren't sure if there was a limit so a few of us are going tomorrow in 2 cars to get them.

I didn t realise there was a limit on them and I got 16 in total on behalf of my daughter who needed to buy for 8 but since they were cheap but only the small ones she wanted to give them all 2 each.

I only knew by ordering online, it will only let you order 12.

Maybe stores are using there discrestion.

Tried to max 12 at our store this morning! But argued it says 16 in the paper/tv.Even a tesco member agreed it stated 16 on the tv!!!Allowed me 16 but kept the notice up!!

We weren't ordering online, which is why I said we were going in cars to get them today.
Staff at the store were really lovely, and not a word was said. Instead of taking them off the shelves (there wasn't enough there anyway) , they offered to get us some from the back
We got 16 each ( there were 5 of us this afternoon) and 2 of us have just ordered the rest needed online at the maximum allowed, as we weren't buying for the whole school

They'll trick everyone like they do with most products. The eggs will get smaller and smaller until the manufacturer brings out a 'giant size' version which will actually be about the same size as the egg was in the first place pre-miniaturisation. At double the price of course.
