    They can also offer advice (though very vaguely) as to the quality of a particular childminder and also verify that the childminder is actually legitimate. I once went to see a childminder, whose details I got from NICMA, who seemed very nice, but that I had a bad feeling about. Checked with the Early Years team who told me there had been issues. We stayed away.
