Where there's a blame there's a claim - have I a claim

Hi,

Just looking for some advice, and this may be the wrong forum but not sure where would be best to post.

I was at legoland at the Trafford centre, and whilst playing with the blocks with my son, on of the rebuilt Lego structures broke, and hit me in the head causing brushing and swelling along with jerking my neck.

The section that fell must has fallen approx two foot and should have been glued down.

We reported this and was furious as it wasn't far from hitting my son or another young near by which I would suspect would have caused a more serious incident.

I wondered if I have any grounds for an accident claim as I am still suffering from headaches

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks

If you have suffered a genuine injury as a result of the negligence of the operator of Legoland then you should contact a solicitor specialising in personal injury claims.

He will arrange for you to attend the required medical examinations, colate your evidence of negligence and put forward a claim for your losses.

If the claim is a valid one, the operator should make good these losses.

I have not had to take time of work or any loss of earning, but have been injured and still suffering headaches, suppose in way the neck injury could be likened to whiplash due the impact

Useless, amusing comment follows, feel free to ignore.

This reminds me of a mot-juste once made by one of my (shop) staff to me. I was showing her how to merchandise (arrange) stock by grouping it on the shelves in vertical and horizontal groupings.

"Okay," she said to me, "So basically, you are talking 'blocks' aren't you?"

I assured her that I was entirely serious.

    1. I'm always getting spam e-mails wanting me to claim for damages for one thing or another - ambulance chasers, they're called. Contact one of them.
    2. Once you've got your "compo" then come back to this forum regarding the investment of it.

Well, if it's destroyed your sense of humour as well, the claimed amount should be doubled.
