A front leg shoved through the gap, up to the shoulder, and waggled up and down. Head turned sideways, nose through the gap then pulled back. Yowling to be let in. Frantic scrabbling. More yowling, louder than before. Front leg back round the door at floor level, claws out, hooking at the wedge, louder yowling. DH shouts "****** cat, shut up", wedge gives way, enter triumphant cat who gives one final yowl, and jumps on the bed.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
