My daughters desk overlooks the Gherkin
Yes London has its beauty.
But also some ugliness. Near where she works someone was stabbed in broad daylight at 2 in the afternoon and there was a drive by shooting last Friday
 that's scary.
I like going in now and again, like today, but don't think I could do it every day.0 -
I wonder if Mr t will have successfully relabelled all the lamb at half price

Oh, those dough balls *drool*
But I behaved and stuck with the salad. Biggest bloody salad I've ever seen! It was bigger than the pizzas the others had
I had a salad in the USA once, we dropped by a cafe for a snack. OH had a "sandwich" which naturally came with chips and was enormous, the kids had burgers and I went for the light option.
However, having seen Man V Food, I have to think the salad must have been one of their showpiece meals. It came on a plate the size of a turkey server and was piled about 8 inches high, and it must have had a bit of everything in it, chicken, cheese, prawns, spuds, croutons, all the salad stuff you can think of. I honestly could not finish it, I wish I had taken a picture now.
Believe me, you have not had a big salad until you have had one from that little cafe near a little town called Hope
On that note, I am off now, night night. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
I think a lot of us wondered why you went to the trouble to take it back when you only paid 1p for it unless you knew it would come up at £15 which I doubt. I'd have probably given it away lol
That's why I returned it, as I knew it would now scan at £15 as they have restocked with the same barcode as the one I bought for 1pI wouldn't have returned it for a penny refund lol :rotfl:

I'm off to have a look tomorrow, and cast an eye around for the 1p choc. But last time my store had not labelled the meat properly they just didn't put the SELs up
