He did say he wouldn't keep it there anymore, but has gone straight out for a run so he would not get an ear bashing from me I think.
Ilovetoshop - what a story! I could never imagine taking a loan out for someone else! I can't believe what happened but at least it's finally come to an end:) and it's nice to know you've had some help along the way from the Elite:beer:My elite to do list: get to grips with the basics, discover a trigger item & seek out a profitable glitch!0 -
What a lovely post, bet your are so relieved now it's paid off.. I as a single parent have saved loads too thanks to everyone on here :-) but it's so addictive, I seem to be at the supermarket every day!! Lol
To addictive..my friends don't understand what I do but asked if I would stop doing it now I am sorted..my answer NO WAY.:j:j:jilovetoshop that is fantastic news. You story brought tears to my eyes, but I am so glad you have found your way through being let down by someone you trusted dearly.
Think I might pop open a bottle of fizz to celebrate with you later.
That was one of the hardest things at the time it wasn't the money it was a friendship I had lost that hurt so much as wellThis has made me cry. So pleased you didn't give up and :j to the last payment being made xx
Made me cry typing it bought back a few things I had forgot along the way but that is why I wanted to to write today as today is a new start and I can forget all about it and look forward to what life holds for the future. They say things happen for a reason and I believe it does as so much happened along the way that I don't think would have. I even got married in a very low cost wedding that no one knew was happening , we invited everyone to our children's christening and never told anyone we were getting marriedOne cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.0 -
I love to shop, I am in tears here. Such a wonderful post and nice to hear you have paid off the loan. Nice too hear no bitterness there too. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

I found a huge one for £100 at lunch today so it's sat on my desk until i can enter details in ten mins. Then when i went to put my empty trolley back, i found a roll of kids wrapping paper, unopened, propped up by the side of the trolleys. It's now in the boot of my car :rotfl:
Sounds like your luck is in today. If you get a nice AGP you should get a lucky dip or scratch card out of it:DMy elite to do list: get to grips with the basics, discover a trigger item & seek out a profitable glitch!0 -
Would anyone be able to help with the 3v card thing please? I've read and read and I'm still a bit confused.
I remember someone saying that if you pay rent by Allpay you get some cash back? Or was I imagining it.
Thank you.
Good afternoon everyone
I was the one who mentioned Allpay but never mentioned cash back, it was T's clubcard points that I mentioned the value of. I buy 8 x £25 cards (I usually stagger them but have bought 8 all at once before). That gives you 1200 cc points which, if used as their deals (for days out etc) would give you 3 or 4 times 1200 points.
The 3V ones can only be used online though and aren't the same as normal Visa ones as they can't be swiped at checkouts. Many a mickle makes a muckle.0 -
