First I swapped bills and cut things we could do without then I found grabbit and then the coupon page.then came the Dtd ..I didn't pay much attention to it first as I didn't understand it..then I kept seeing it get bigger so popped in for a look,well i am glad I did, I don't think I did as well as a lot of people but I did enough to save a lot of money and keep us going.when this ended I didn't realise you had all set up here so went back to other ways of saving money and then I think this thread appeared on the grabbit page and I thought hmm looks interesting and have never left..I think I lurked quite a while before posting as most major supermarkets were a good travelling distance away I felt I had nothing to contribute. Of course then there was the big A glitch which not only helped us but really set us on our way for having extra treats.
Without having found this site and you guys our life over the last 5 years would of been completely different, it would of been unbearable instead so much has happened over the five years and for the better. Not only have I been able to treat my family i have been able to treat others and give donations to charity and gifts to strangers.i was even able to send my boys on a trip last month,something I wouldn't of been able to do if it wasn't for everybody on here.
It's not only the bargains and money saving it is the posts that make you laugh,smile ,cry its all that that sometimes just pulls you through the day.

Well today I have made my last payment of my loan and feel like a weight has been lifted.

So a massive thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone here who posts , without you and others life could of been very different xxxx

This has made me cry. So pleased you didn't give up and :j to the last payment being made xx

He did say he wouldn't keep it there anymore, but has gone straight out for a run so he would not get an ear bashing from me I think.

Oh organised mhoc - I usually look out the window and then decide .... if it doesn't rain I will be in blue/dark grey marl short jacket, jeans and walking boots me thinks. If it does rain light mint coloured waterproof coat (with jeans and walking boots).

Hope to be there most of the day - OH coming with me before his work (he's on afternoons) and leaving 1 ish, plus a friend. Debating whether to dash back for 3.30 pick up kids and go back for last 2 hours with them.

I have to spend time looking at the growing veg bit and see what does well "up north" .

I found a huge one for £100 at lunch today so it's sat on my desk until i can enter details in ten mins. Then when i went to put my empty trolley back, i found a roll of kids wrapping paper, unopened, propped up by the side of the trolleys. It's now in the boot of my car :rotfl:
