Hi all i have spent the last two days in and out of hospitals. The first one was for my chest which thankfully is looking good but have to go back in 3 months for an xray just to be sure.
Yesterday they done an MRI for my back and sent me home telling me that they could operate but it might make it worse so i have to just find the correct pain relief from doctors and attend pysio and see if that helps. I ask him about my work and was told that i have to give up construction as my back will never get better and will only get worse over the years.

Cookie I am sorry to hear the news about your back but don't despair, Mr Tinyshoes was told something similar in his early 30s nearly 20 years on he is fit and healthy and pain free and taking no medication. :)

He was told if he carried on doing the job he was he could end up in a wheelchair. The type of work meant a lot of overreaching in cramped spaces. :( It was a struggle for us but he did give up his "trade" for other work, very poorly paid to start with but we managed until he found something with a liveable wage. He did have an epidural which helped initially but can thoroughly recommend the help he got from the NHS physios. He now runs, rides a bike, and does martial art couple times a week. :)

I hope you find the best way forward to help with your symptons. Take care of yourself. :A

(Oh and he was also offered an operation but decided not to risk it.)

Damn saves me a trip though, could try Pole store though, curse our local stores

I noticed the bigger store over here had what I thought was the trigger the other week, had the 3 for £10 in front of it. But I didn't do a shop so not sure if it was definitely the right H & S.

The smaller store did not have it last week or gap for it when I thought I might give a shop a go. HTHs

    Good Morning:hello:
.... Might be afternoon by the time I've finished typing..
Some new offers on shopit this morning.. Don't know if its already been mentioned I've skipped a bit:o

I decided I'd paint the hallway this morning:) like you do.... Mr monkey decided a year or so ago that he'd do a gold feature wall... Well as the wall is quite shaded it looked more sludge green than gold from certain angles:eek: he finally admitted his choice was the wrong one:j so it's gone:j wonder if he will notice....

I keep singing "lucky scarf" from Callie's Wild West, it's driving me crackers:rotfl:

Those Maryland cookies appear unavailable on msl today....only available in @...

Right I've had my cuppa, time to do the second coat..

    Ttfn Mt2m:)

    Morning all

I think I'm a bit late (as usual) to this party :o

Is it possible to include the purchase of a 3v visa card when using up a conditional spend?

I've got a few £6 off £60  to use up, I was thinking of getting the 3v £50 visa card plus £10 of shopping (that's more like it ;)) and then using the 3v's towards my car tax/shopping/etc

    They can only say no;)

A family member reported Dr Oetker Ristorante pizzas were £1.49 RTC today in the local Tesco - may be store specific? But the till wouldn't accept the free coupon

Is there still 150 pts when you buy £50 of gift cards at T?

Anyone know what actual gift cards qualify for the 150 points please? Are they specific ones or just any ones? Thanks.
