Well you might as well then, if you have some to use up. Shame that it is a min of £25 c&c order!!We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits.0 -

I see your point about price perception, but the 'expensive' choc in the lidl offer is actually one of their 'deluxe' range, rather than the bog-standard ones, hence it being more than double the price of the other one on offer. But then many people seem to love that cheap one, and I know which one I'll be getting 'for the baking cupboard'
Yes it was a different product at 9p. Not even sure if it was milk chocolate - wasn't it the caramel ones (and some others)? So not exactly equivalent. Just looking at the two prices in isolation of this!:) Ummm... who decided that the "deluxe range" chocolate was "deluxe"? And who's to say the "value" one is 'bog standard'?
Yes, about the fact that 2 tubs or packs of something can be cheaper than a single one twice the size, it's often down to their being a special offer on the cheaper one. Sometimes it's the larger one that is cheaper per unit (and many people perhaps automatically assume that it is) but sometimes it's the other way around:D. Some would think this was due to trying to create confusion and have people buying the more expensive one in error (not of course us that buy those to compare and check properly). Sometimes the larger pack has said that it is "better value" and there are rules around those sorts of things - too late to go into and not much of use. Sometimes, rarely, the "Finest" product can turn out to be cheaper than the "Value" one. Finest Sweetcorn when on half price anyone?
It's not always what you (other people more generally) would expect and many people do make the mistake of buying a more expensive one. That's I think the point related to price perception. Expect the unexpected I think and you'll do well!!:)0 -

Pointing out the obvious (but then again might not obviously occur to others).
It's easier to reach a higher spend by buying APG items that compare much cheaper to elsewhere. But then when you get the APG off the shop, which may be lower than £25, at some stage you're going to have to buy a £25 shop without getting an APG back. Or else you'll have to use a smaller APG (from a 'small' £25 shop - small in comparison to previous shopping over that limit) against a £25 shop - and not sort of kill one online.
I don't know if can buy some clothing or something to make the £25 spend? And then return to store - or does it have to be online? Click and collect - collecting instore so going back to there? I don't know much about online shopping I'm afraid, due to these minimum shop limit sometimes or delivery costs. I never spend the huge amount required by Sains. for shopping that can't get a BM back, and I very rarely buy online from T - only if there is a very particular reason for doing so:D.
Bye again!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::D:wave:0 -
