    what if 1kg is £1 in A and 2x500g are £1.10 in M (a 10% increase on A's price for 1kg)

    M's price less 10% is 99p

    so it is better to buy 2x500gr in M on an APG shop than buy 1kg in A (ignoring fillers) even though the price is 10% higher than in A :D

    you said to buy things on an APG shop that were no more than 9.99999999% more than the cost in A. Are you sure that shouldn't be 11.11111111%?

    :think: :think: :think: :think:

    ETA: I see your edit now. I know you're not being exact but it's not like you were out by 0.00000001% :p:p

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Yes it's 1/0.9!:D With a very small shade off in order to make it very slightly cheaper, at the margin, rather than the same price. (That's what I was trying - and failing:o:o:p:p:p:p - to get at.) Then again probably get that net 'very slightly cheaper' from the fraction of pennies always rounding down.

    If 1kg was £1:T:j in A, I'll probably ordinarily be pulling it off the shelves on a sep.shop! But...if I knew M were at 2 for £1.10 on the 500g - I'd probably be getting two of those, only to find they returned N/A:mad::mad::mad::(:rotfl:.

    We are back & got my lighting & my new mats to replace the ones cast on the garden by Fourp :mad:

    Very MSE - Found some okish lights at £30 each, posh LED bulbs to fit at £4 each :eek: = £84 ;)
    Luckily we toured the Bargain Corner before paying & :D:D:D the perfect lights were there at £2.90 each & had bulbs in them :T:T:T

    Oh & I bought a Clanger from T K Maxx :o

    :(:(The Fairy is only 383ml and only one per shop:( - never mind, lots of options vs diff. competitors.:) (Therefore possible different shops.)

    Caution required on this one - Isn't this size the T equivalent of the 433ml in A? I feel sure when you scan 433ml instore in A with Msl set to T that it brings this one up.

    Havnt noticed the 200g bar before. Wonder why it works out more expensive than buying 2 100g bars.

    Stores often do this and rely on people just assuming bigger packs will be cheaper when they're often not.

    I think that works. I think this tells me it is a working trigger:T, as these items that show pricing for other stores but show N/A for A do work as triggers. A number of triggers I've had showing similar to this have worked as hoped on my earlier shops, so this is a good sign!:) But I get the point re. the different sizes and do need to check that!
