    Afternoon paw sniffers,

My vouchers weren't accepted today in T either.

    Good news really.

I was only trying to buy 3. SA couldn't input them at the till so I went to customer service desk who said they were on the banned list. I didn't engage in any further chat as I don't want to raise my profile. I just asked for a refund on the pizzas which I was given without a problem

Buying them enabled me to reach a £50 spend. This saved 24% on my shopping bill using conditional spend vouchers. I retained the PP on the 3 pizzas and I have faith in Dr O that we will either be sent replacement vouchers to use or T will accept them after instruction from Dr O.

    Happy days:)

Love this. You are so cool TM lol. I will play it like this also I think. Don't want to give the trouts at my local more reasons to look down their nose at me :(

Very un-elite day today as bought 2 tins of farrow & bull paint at £36.99 a tin!!
Did pop in T's & got some 1p red trees :j:j

When we were putting a phone system in a large house that was being refurbed the decorators were using the farrow and bull, they were saying it was the worst paint to use that they have ever come upon :(
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

    Evening all.
Back from a 6hr round trip to watch DS2 play footie in the rain :footie:. Had a lovely time meeting up with family in the process though
Puncture in one of the tyres when we got back to the car after the match, ended up needing a new tyre :(
No hope of catching up as have missed about 50 pages since yesterday, can't believe weekend is almost over - is it Friday yet??

Just had major problem using the Dr. O coupons in my T.:mad:
    Only used 2.
It came up not spent minimum amount.
1st sa, "have you bought the pizzas?"
    Yes.
"You haven't got the right ones"
    I have.
"I'll just go and check the coupons"
She comes back with 2nd sa.
"We don't accept these coupons, they aren't safe coupons"
Yes they are, they are smart coupons with individual barcodes and my name and postcode on.
I then explained all about the DrO promotion and how I had bought all the promotional boxes in T.
They tried to put them through again.
"Ah that's the problem, they aren't for use in here, they are only for use in small shops. These coupons are for pizzas that are £2-79, our pizzas are £2-99"
I have used other Dr O coupons in here without a problem.
"Well you will have to keep your receipt and come back tomorrow and speak to someone else about them"
No, I am not coming back tomorrow, can I speak to the manager please.
    Eventually a supervisor appears.
    "We don't accept these coupons"
Told her about the Dr O promotion.
She scrutinises the coupons and one of the pizzas.
"This isn't the right coupon for this pizza as the barcodes don't match"
    They don't have to match.
"Yes they do, all coupons barcodes have to match the barcode of the product"
I think she realised then that I was getting slightly irate!!:mad:
"As a goodwill gesture I will put them through on this occasion, but don't try to use any more in here because they wont be accepted"

This saga took 25 minutes, so by the time I got home, the pizzas had defrosted!!!

I shall be on the phone to T. head office tomorrow and also Dr.O!!

I had the same.... they could not figure out the pizza's are £2.99 and the voucher is for £2.79... then he said I had copied them as the numbers were the same... OH pointed out that only the end numbers were the same the ones in the middle were different... he still thought we had copied them! DS3 was a little cross as he was looking forward to free pizza!

But I have not got the guts to ring anyone!

    :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o
