Just had major problem using the Dr. O coupons in my T.:mad::mad:
Only used 2.
It came up not spent minimum amount.
1st sa, "have you bought the pizzas?"
Yes.
"You haven't got the right ones"
I have.
"I'll just go and check the coupons"
She comes back with 2nd sa.
"We don't accept these coupons, they aren't safe coupons"
Yes they are, they are smart coupons with individual barcodes and my name and postcode on.
I then explained all about the DrO promotion and how I had bought all the promotional boxes in T.
They tried to put them through again.
"Ah that's the problem, they aren't for use in here, they are only for use in small shops. These coupons are for pizzas that are £2-79, our pizzas are £2-99"
I have used other Dr O coupons in here without a problem.
"Well you will have to keep your receipt and come back tomorrow and speak to someone else about them"
No, I am not coming back tomorrow, can I speak to the manager please.
Eventually a supervisor appears.
"We don't accept these coupons"
Told her about the Dr O promotion.
She scrutinises the coupons and one of the pizzas.
"This isn't the right coupon for this pizza as the barcodes don't match"
They don't have to match.
"Yes they do, all coupons barcodes have to match the barcode of the product"
I think she realised then that I was getting slightly irate!!:mad::mad:
"As a goodwill gesture I will put them through on this occasion, but don't try to use any more in here because they wont be accepted"


This saga took 25 minutes, so by the time I got home, the pizzas had defrosted!!!

I shall be on the phone to T. head office tomorrow and also Dr.O!!

I had this nonsense before in A's and when they eventually took them I asked the SA to get me new ones as these had defrosted, ended up costing them more than if they had just accepted the coupons in the first place!

He damaged the same arm he fractured before Xmas but thankfully his fracture was fine (shows how well it has healed)but where he fell on it he has put his bone alignment out so is strapped back up again for another four weeks.his consultant couldn't believe he was back there again a week and a half after being discharged and couldn't believe it happened on his last day and he would of been ok if the other guy hadn't wiped him out :rotfl: thank you for asking bubbs

I had the same problem in my Ts, had to wait ages for the vouchers to be approved, and that is with my ones being printed on smart coupon paper because I complained to Dr O about all the trouble I was having getting someone to take them

Yes buy £50 worth and you get 150 C&C points in T (plus generates a HH and sometimes other vouchers ... And sometimes they have been known to accept these to pay for gift cards but if they refuse don't push it as it does exclude gift cards in the t and cs ... you can spend next time :cool: ).

Cards activate immediately. You then need to go to the 3v prepaid website and register the card for online use and it gives you a visa number.

Set up your account with High Street Vouchers - I add 1x£5 and 2x£10 A vouchers, go through checkout.

Once activated, 3v sends an email with the security code - copy card number onto High Street Vouchers, expiry date and security number,, finish order.

If you order early in the day, the A gift cards tend to arrive the following working day :cool:.

All in all once you are set up it takes minutes to activate the card, get your visa number and order. Stick to £25 orders on HSV as it is free postage and within the compensation limit for Royal Mail in the unlikely event of them going missing ... Plus you can then use your full 3v card balance to pay ).

There are 3v limits but all you need to then do is provide ID and restrictions removed.

Awww bless him, years ago my sister had problems with her knee keep popping out and was on crutches, she had been going physio for weeks, was just on her last session and booger me happened again so had to start from beginning again:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
