    That's a great story! :T

I used to work in an old folks home and there was an uncommunicative guy there. I asked him if he'd ever been abroad and he nodded, saying "Germany".

Never got an other word out of him and the other staff were amazed he'd said anything at all; they hadn't heard him utter a word for years.

oh I wonder if he was there during the war? :(

It have been thinking all day.....wondering what triggers my OHs really low points? ITs something that plagues me. I wonder if it might be stuff on telly? I might be way off the mark.......

But there's lots of WW1 stuff on telly at the minute with the anniversary. There's been bits about NI (he did several tours there) and then other bits and pieces.

I like news.....it's like a lifeline to the rest of the world :o I wonder though if I should be more careful about what I watch and when?

    .....who knows? :o

    Ps

Looking at Msm, Double Chocolate, Hazlenut and Chocolate also £1.89v£1, so these two or either with Hobnob raisin would be 98p after apg (plus fillers!). AvT

Blue Ribband £1.55v77p, AvT. So £3.10-£1.54=£1.56+14p = £1.68 = £1.32 cost approx for all three.

I remember being up the night you first started posting FC and remembering how distressed you were over DH. You seem a different person now.....so positive and confident. I'm sure you have dark days but good on ya for keeping your spirits up. You are right though about the TV lately it's awash with WW1 stuff. I can't watch it:o

Something as simple as the news can trigger it. My friends cousin gets jittery and 'dark' when he sees some stuff on news features.

As you mention though there is quiet abit of Anniversary programmes on, and in the paper. Either way, it will be one of those.
I just hope and pray that you and yours will be ok, I only wish I were nearer so I could have given more support to you and the family.

I haven't either CL. I decided that I'd take the kids away this year....it's not fair on them not getting a holiday :(
DS1 said he'd stay with OH so I asked the kids where they wanted to go......thinking I'll compromise if they can't agree.
DD wants to go to Dubai. DS2 wants to go to Hollywood. I reckon the midway compromise is just about......here :D:rotfl::rotfl:

So we are no further forward :o

Thank you cheer1eader, we get to go away fairly often but it's only due to the fact that DH took early retirement when he was 55. Started off as redundancy and he got a lovely big payout and having paid off our mortgage a few years back, children are adult now, we are freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :)
