I'm only planting earlies this year. Blight has hit my main crop for the last couple of years so I'm not bothering this year.

Does anyone plant by the moon ie plants their potatoes on Good Friday?

We usually have few different potatoes but still have loads left from last year to eat, so just gone for first earlies and couple of main crops this year. Been lucky not had blight for years.

And yes Mr TS has the planting by moon calendar book. He always saying things like it's not a root day today.

    Sounds like excema.
Could be caused by an allergic reaction, or sometimes changes in temperature.

Easy to say, but try not to think about it. Running your hands under cold water can help (works for me) and/or distracting yourself about what your hands are telling you (if that makes sense ... it does to me).

It has gone bloomin cold today, and I have tried putting in cold water, but still itching.

    Is anybody chitting?

I've only got as far as thinking about it. We're very late this year. All this rain just leaves me with visions of everything rotting :(

This is my first time :o

I've chucked some unchitteds in an inside out compost bag in both my gardens just to see what happens with them. Both are doing ok so far :)

I'm planning on doing them in bags in my garden, and in the ground in the other one. They'll go in last week of March

    Tiny hows teeny doing?

Really well thanks bubbs, she had her first jabs this week and she cried and DD1 cried too. And then DD1 worried as she cried quite a bit again later but smiles the next morning thankfully.

Paddy's day for us. We have limited space so only do earlies.

Try to think of something other than the itching. I realise it's easier said than done:) Distraction techniques:D
