I've seen quite a few shops lately where people are only getting £3 or £4 back, it must cost more to go and get it than they actually save, unless they live next door that is.
It's too easy to get addicted to the buzz of getting a 'glitch' and forget how much it's costing.
I agree.Luckily I do live a short distance away if I walk but if I go by car it is a 5 mile trip.My AGS are usually no more than £6.There are several reasons for this. One being unable to carry too much.Another is I don't actually want to spend actual cash but like to pay with apgs. Some are my own and some from wombles.I keep a spread sheet with columns showing actual cash spent, apgs used,my apgs, wombled apgs and % of cash spend against total.
Another reason is I don't want to be trouted.0 -

You'd reminded me - I was going to post earlier (but didn't want to draw attention to the full situation;)) to argue - doubtless getting not much truck - that this isn't a glitch. They are on two different offers in T and therefore, in accordance with the T&Cs, this promotion is excluded under the T&Cs. It's not a glitch - it is operating as it should, in accordance with the T&Cs. It's not an error - it's an operation that is working in accordance with and following and complying with the T&C rules.
On this aspect of the matter anyway;):rotfl::rotfl:.
What are the restrictions?- It is important to us to ensure that the price comparisons we make are fair. As a result, price comparisons on Tesco Price Promise are based on what the customer actually buys at Tesco on the date of purchase or delivery. This includes price cuts and most promotions. For example:
- Half price and buy-one-get-one-free promotions whether at Tesco or at a competitor are included as they allow fair comparisons to be made.
- Linksave (e.g. meal deals or “buy cheese and get the crackers free”), category-wide (e.g. “buy 6 bottles of wine and get 5% off”), and multiple offers on the same range (e.g. “buy 2 for £3 or buy 5 for £6”) are excluded because they do not allow fair comparisons to be made irrespective of which retailer is running the promotion.
Read the T&Cs folks - you peeps have no idea how to follow things literally:rotfl::rotfl:.0 - It is important to us to ensure that the price comparisons we make are fair.
