lol know that feeling ..................
I was kidding
I've seen quite a few shops lately where people are only getting £3 or £4 back, it must cost more to go and get it than they actually save, unless they live next door that is.
It's too easy to get addicted to the buzz of getting a 'glitch' and forget how much it's costing.0 -
Shortfatscotsbloke wrote: »Bought in threes as the offer was £1.90 each or 3 for £3 in A. I could have bought 1 or 2 but I would have just got back the difference between what I actually paid (£1.90 each) and the price in S (£1 each). The glitch is that you pay the offer price (3 for £3) and the apg thinks you have actually paid £5.70, so gives you much more back.
Bought 9 as I like to keep my apg under a tenner, anything over a tenner needs the sa to input the value, which is a bit above some of them..
Fillers are either cheap items that you know cost the same or less elsewhere or normal shopping that is cheaper or the same price in your targeted shop.
Stick around and just read, read, read. Go back to the beginning of this thread and read, read, read. Look for the last thread or two and read them too.
Get to know the regulars, the personalities, the ones to avoid (Nerfdad, Dotty, me) and you'll be well away..:D
Yes hi nenen Dotty aka David. Has an eye for all the ladies and likes to keep them sweet especially Mildred and Tinyshoesand nerfdad can be very naughty and cheeky

Happy Birthday tweets! :j:j:j
Do you have a Home Bargains near you? They sell Luxury Choc Mis-shapes bags for 99p which are generally Thorntons,a bit bashed up but it's a big bag around 350g and they are lush...way way cheaper than buying them anywhere else! And the added bonus of them not always being what you expect!
I saw this on HUKD ages ago and forgot to post :eek::eek: shame on me:D
Thank you
Yew we have a Home Bargains in town I went in last week with a small list with things I had spotted on here and other sites
I spent 0-00p they didn't have anything on my list nor anything I couldn't get same price or cheaper in mr T's
I can get those misshapen bags chocs in one of the £1 shops for a £1 :rotfl::rotfl:sometimes they have loads coffee ones in0 -

I guess you always have to factor in the costs. I keep seeing nice freezers on Ebay that are collection only in places like Bradford & Bolton. Only problem is that it would cost us more than the saving in fuel to collect them, and we'd have to take a day off work. Why can't people have massive warehouses full of damaged stock down southWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
