We take bookings for our debtors petitions but that is mainly so you dont have to hang round too much. We like to get you before a judge before 10.00am when courts start. It is true that we cant turn you away however we do need a judge to be free so you may find this a prob if you turn up in the afternoon.

Are you able to tell us who/where that is penguin83?

Its a court in the North West (sorry to be vague). However the same should apply all over. Our aim is to be customer orientated as most people we deal with, for whatever reason dont want to be there! The appointment system is used to prevent long waiting times and to ensure we have enough staff to deal with the petitions. We also work in hand with the OR and they tend to prefer morning appts so they can get the petitioners dealt with on the day.

    Hi

I think he's putting it off. He's been given the money to pay the fees. Whenever we ask him, he says it's in hand ....

Sorry to be cynical but do you think that he might have already spent the money elsewhere?

Funny you should say that................ yes, of course, we have thought that too but it's because we gave him the money that we have asked otherwise it's a 'no, no ' subject. He won't talk about it. We just think he should get on with it so that he can move on but I think the problem is he doesn't really want to admit that he got in a mess and is still trying to pay some of it off.... or is he???!!!

I will suggest that he regsiters on this forum. Maybe he will sort it out when he sees how m,any other people have similar problems.

Thanks for your cynical comment. I'm an old cynic too.
