I have a stocks and shares ISA with Halifax, which I want to convert into cash (some of it) to help pay a deposit for a house.
Halifax expect a fax to instruct them. I do not have access to a fax machine (it is the twenty first century). I am hoping that I can do this online. Can anyone recommend an online fax solution where it is safe to send bank account numbers?
I was thinking that the Post Office may offer an online solution but I cannot find it.

Can you do it in branch?
With Nationwide I needed to send a fax to their mortgage centre and they did it in the local branchRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Google "send a fax online" - several results, some offer free trial.
However, I can't believe this is the only way to sell shares in your ISA, and withdraw the proceeds.0
