Help with gaming desktop please?

I want to buy a new desktop, I need the tower, monitor etc all in.
It'll be mainly used for playing online games, not really as complex as World of Warcraft but I'd like as good of a gaming orientated computer as possible.
I have no idea what I'm looking for and a budget of £300-£450. I'm not too fussed if it's a refurb or anything as long as it seems legit.
Could someone help point me in the right direction please?

This largely depends on the type of games you're planning to play. Bearing in mind that a good graphics card will instantly total your budget. Albeit that World of Warcraft is fairly light on resources.
£140 or so will get you a decent but old GTX 660, any i5-or-better chassis plus enough memory will play most games decently, better still if you splash out for a GTX 770. WoW will however run tolerably enough on Intel's more advanced integrated graphics engine.
A lot depends on how much you can salvage of your existing machine. I paid towards the higher end of that for mine, but I kept the case, the PSU, the monitor etc.

No monitor, though. No keyboard or mouse (albeit that this is a trivial expense).0
