Hi, I have 2 PC's and a laptop on a wireless net at home.
As I'm using 1 PC and the laptop for business I want to find a good way of keeping everything I do on both machines in the same folder.
I have a shared folder on the Desktop so I can transfer things back and forwards to the laptop fine. But how can I set the machines up so if I bookmark something on one PC - it will bookmark iot on the other.
Also is there a way of creating a folder on my laptop which will automatically update when my laptop connects to the network so if I have saved new files on my desktop the day before - they will transfer over automatically.
Hope that last one makes sense!

The following is copied from XP's Help and SupportTo synchronize files on connected computers using Briefcase
- While the computers are connected, open Briefcase on your portable computer and copy the appropriate files from your main computer.
- Work on the files on your portable computer.
- When you have finished working on the files, connect the two computers if they were disconnected, open Briefcase on your portable computer, and then do one of the following:
- To update all the files, on the Briefcase menu, click Update All.
- To update only some of the files, select the files you want to update, and then on the Briefcase menu, click Update Selection.
- When you are using Briefcase to copy files from your main computer to your portable computer, the two computers must be connected, either over a network or by a direct cable connection.
- While you are working on your files, the two computers do not need to be connected.

As stated, Briefcase can be used to synchronize files between 2 PCs on an ad hoc basis, i.e. only when you run it.
Search for 'synchronize windows folders' on Google - there are several shareware progs. Or try the DIY approach by running a DOS batch file and script on startup or regularly via a Scheduled Task, e.g. this VBScript.0
