3. That the LL cannot raise the rent without giving proper notice and if you refuse, he can give you notice to leave. He cannot firce you to pay higher rent.
OP said he will be on a periodic tenancy at the end of the month.
As said, at that point the landlord will be able to force him to pay a higher rent by serving the correct notice.0 -
