I have the above and have noticed when I went to my sent items that one email has been sent out all person who i have emailed and my contacts can any advise how this has happened ?

It sounds like the device you use or have used recently has been infected with some sort of Spyware/Malware.

This sort of infection automatically sends out emails to anyone that is on your contact list and the email usually includes a link to a website that is fake and will infect any of your contacts unless protected with antivirus software etc...

What sort of content does the sent email contain?
Does it contain a link to a site? If so DON'T click on it
Does it contain an attachment? If so DON'T open it
Is the email trying to sell something?
What devices do you use to use Hotmail? This includes any at work etc...

If it is an email you knowingly sent then that doesn't sound too bad. You may have accidently clicked on something by mistake.

To be on the safe side I would change your Hotmail password and security question just to make sure no one used you account while it was open and keep tabs on it over the coming weeks to make sure it's still not happening.

Also make sure you have up to date antivirus software and do a full system scan on your desktop to make sure it's not infected.
