Changing Toilet Seat Cover NEED HELP

Hey People I am all confused i thought ok today i will do some DIY ( a bit crazy) and I have no idea on how to replace the toilet seat cover. There are no screws to unscrew just two massive silver round things that I have tried to yank off but it won't work.

ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED.

(p.s please put any instructions in the simplest form for me to follow as I am having one of those days lol!)

Thank you in advance.

No worries I have now sorted it, if anyone else has the same problem get right underneath your toilet and you will see two massive long screws just undo them and the toilet seat will come off easy.
