AMEX True Earnings & Santander 123 CC

in Credit cards
Background:
I recently got a Santander 123 credit card and an American Express True Earnings credit card
Query:
I have a couple of subscriptions that I am currently paying with a non-cashback card – Netflix and Glossy Box. Obviously it’d make sense to pay these with a cashback card if they qualify as ‘eligible partners’. Unfortunately neither company provides a definitive list of where cashback can be received (though Santander does supply the SIC codes for certain eligible merchants in their T&Cs).
Before I spend a very long time on the phone calling through to ask the question, I thought I’d check if any of you know first.
Thanks in advance!

True Earnings:
Travel, Restaurants, Costco
Santander 123:
Petrol, Supermarkets, National Rail, Department Stores.
Not definitive but I'd doubt Netflix or Glossybox would fall into any of those categories0 -
That's what I thought - True Earnings also provides cashback in shops too. I think it's this generic 'eligible merchant' term that is being bandied about which makes it confusing!
It'd be great if Netflix allowed payment by direct debit, then I could use my 123 current account to get cashback. :-/Please respond to mine and others' posts with courtesy and kindness- and I will not deliberately disrespect you. Down with the trolls!0 -
Reading their webpage it suggests that anything that doesnt count as cash advance (and a few other things) are eligible for the 1% so netflix would be. Though there is the annual £300 limit on cashback too0
