External door options to conservatory.

So I posted a while ago about our proposed conservatory and should we remove the window/door to open it up.

That thread, well, lets leave it where it is.

What I'm after are options of EXTERNAL doors, that we could use to replace the rather large and bulky existing external door.

It's just a standard size door, and there is no room for anything bigger. Are there options that don't have a threshold? Anything more 'internal looking'? If we are to go with an external door we would also probably change it so it opens in to the conservatory rather than the kitchen.

Any options/advise welcome.

Bi fold door opening into conservatory. Get them from B&Q, etc

A external opener without a cill with a low level threshhold is an option . make sure your floor in the conservatory isnt going to impead , About £700 fitted ballpark

+ if its opening out you will need to factor the hinges so when they open they will fully open . IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT YOU WILL WORK OT OUT /X

I've gone down the bifold door route (being installed as we speak) and already it opens up the whole area. Exactly what I wanted.

the OP said a standard sized door with no room for anything bigger . A Bi-Fold EXTERNAL isnt really an option . You could look at a composite door with some acid etched glass etc. a decent lock but a solid door .
