0% Credit Cards (Not balance transfer)

You can get 0% purchase cards, these usually have a short period than balance transfers.

however, these are usually reserved for those with a good credit history, so without any history of credit cards, it might be difficult to get one.

All credit cards are 0% if you pay in full each month

You would need a CC that gives you 0% interest on purchases. As long as you pay the minimum on time, you won't be charged any interest during the promotional period.

"Purchases" do not include cash advances, foreign currencies and gambling sites.
  • Would a paypal payment be classed as a purchase?

I would have it paid off in less than 12 months & on experian my credit score is 999

Thanks for the responses - really helpful :)

Usually, yes. There will be additional fees though.

What are you ultimately trying to do?
  • Ordinary paypal transactions are "purchases" - you buy something.

If you send money to a friend or family member, than this transaction would be "quasi-cash".
  • Yes it will be via quasi-cash... Is this still a 3% fee does anyone know?

Thanks for the help. Think I have found the best credit card for me after reading endless T&C's
