I'm afraid you misunderstand the way Which? report their results. Perhaps this will reassure you:
Score: Ignores price. Based on: cleaning (90%), filming and cloudiness (15%), drying and watermarks (15%), Brilliance (10%)
Not when I've read this
"which rated 13 tablets and four powders on things such as price and efficiency in cleaning. "
and this
"They looked at factors from price and general efficiency in cleaning plates and cutlery to whether or not they left glasses shiny and removed particularly stubborn food stains."
Notice how PRICE is always the first thing mentioned.
And certainly not when I know 90% + 15% + 15% + 10% = 130%!0 -

You'll need to take that up with Which?, then - that's how it appears in the report!0 -
Where did Which? buy their fairy platinum from? At 40p each it was probably from a supermarket just before they were due to go on 'offer' for better than half price. When I had a dishwasher I always used fairy platinum and found them much better at cleaning than any others - and I never paid more than 20p each for them, usually less than that and sometimes as little as 12p each. Shop around and stock up when they are on offer!Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0

I don't have a dog in this fight as I don't use either brand. I do, however, know that I don't place much store in Which? reports. Whenever I've read a test of theirs in a field in which I have some knowledge, I've found it wanting.
I see no reason to assume that in areas about which I know little (like the formulae used in DWP) Which? performs any better.0 -
I have almost finished my first box of Morrisons Savers dishwasher tablets at £1.60 for 30 which is 5p per wash and they work brilliantly, so we will be sticking to these.
Didn't get on with the Lidl ones as they left a cloudy film over glasses and crockery. I was planning to try Aldi instead but we don't have an Aldi nearby, hence I gave the Morrisons one's a try.0 -

I've used the Morrison's ones without problems, too. Then again, I find most tablets seem to work well in my machine. I certainly wouldn't pay the silly prices charged for those hyped-up Finish Quantum ones.0 -
We've been using Lidl W5 dishwasher tablets for 2 yrs in Bosch dishwashers and whilst nothing else has changed we've notice just in the last 6months or so some expensive porcelain cups we bought a two years back have started to lose their glaze, has anyone else had the same or similar experience?0

Strongly suspect they are not dishwasher safe.0 -
