HP 3520 - iPhone & iPad can't find printer

After problems with the canon printer I took it back & bought the HP3520.
Gmas iPad mini can find it and we've been successful in printings from her iPad mini. However we can't print from my iPhone 5s or her iPhone 4 and not from my iPad2- it says "No AirPrint printers found".
Can anyone help me sort this out please?
Also can someone explain to me what is the purpose of the HP eprint app? I got it from the App Store but don't understand when and why you need it. TIA.

The HP ePrint app links your printer to your phone via the internet.
Create a log-in and register your printer. that will should give you the ability to print to your home printer from anywhere you have a data connection.
Are you sure the air print app is on these phones? (not got iPhone so not sure what extra apps are required!)
Also check to see if their is a firmware update for the printer.

The printer is grandmas so do we create a log in for her and a log in for me for the same printer? How do you do this on the app?
I don't know if our iPhones have air print - can anyone help me with how I find that out. Thanks.0 -
Are the iphones and ipad on the same wireless network as your Grandma's ipad?
They need to be, otherwise they wont be able to see the printer.0 -

It's on the App store.Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0 -

That's a bit clearer now thanks.0 -
