The national uk broadcasters like the bbc itv channel four/five etc have switched to a VERY tight UK focussed satellite beam on Astra 2E/2F with a much limited overspill to North West Europe and reception across europe is more difficult without very large dish antennae used for reception.

However english language free to air channels on the pan european beam of Astra 2 are much easier to receive. Go to www.astra2.org for reception reports and dish sizes required.
