Going to Holland at end of April by ferry - advice please.

    Fly. East Midlands, Birmingham or Stansted are all within range. Schipol is easily connected with the city probably better than big ferry ports. Also it'll save you bags of time.
    I don't think the ferry sounds like a wise use of time here.

    The overnight ferry can be a wise use of time I think. You leave London at 7.30 in the evening and get to Amsterdam before 10am the following day having slept on the boat.

    have a look at P&O 2for 1 from hull on ferry sail at teatime and land 08.00 next day then transfer on bus to amsterdam. could book a hotel and then explore.
