Job Offer via email ?

I've had it happen before - job offer when I called and the interviewer was otherwise 'not available so go away' then received email offering so definitely a lucky call! Most recently I've found the line "we're still interviewing, have others still to see before we make a decision" as a bit haha when we'll still offer you a job later same day very funny practise albeit the best! ..though makes me shudder what about the poor souls in after if this situation is genuine? ah well perhaps the situation has happened to me at some point and I've not known, yeah been interviewed for a job that technically has been filled
Years ago back in the 90's I remember once because I didn't pick up the phone quick enough I lost that to the person that did... was kinda gutted!
