Unforgetting network on ipad

I accidentally "forgot" my network on my ipad. Before I did this it would connect fine, without the password. Now I am getting the option to join the network, though I need to put the password in. However, when I try to connect it says it can't- I am typing the password correctly but it still won't connect. I have reset the network connections, switched my router off and back on again and still getting nowhere. Any help much appreciated!

Can i ask, when you reset your router, did you reset it to default password? the one it came with?
Also, check that your keyboard on your ipad is not starting your password with a capital letter?0 -
Passwords on BT and Sky routers are case sensitive, took me ages to realise when trying to set my phone up as both use a mix of lower and upper case.0

Yes I did check the shift key wasn't on and checked each character as I typed them in - I'm sure it is the right password. I didn't reset router to factory settings though, just switched it off and back on again.0

Some routers management screens will display the Wireless Password. Try http://192.168.1.1/ as a URL and see if it gets you into the router (password at this level unless changed will be admin) and then look at Wireless Security....
