Missing items on credit file

Hi all,
I have a car hire purchase agreement in place, been going since 2011 and will end next year after years. I have never missed or been late in paying, and I would hope that this would have a positive effect on my credit rating. However, the loan doesn't appear with Experian or Equifax. Does anyone know why and can I insist it's included?

It may be that your hire company treats your hire contact as a confidential matter. Read the terms and conditions to see who they may reveal your conduct details to or ask them.

If you'd like to send details we can check our records to make sure you're seeing your full report and let you know if the company in question is one we work with.
