Mbna credit card late payment problems

Guys

Just printed off my husbands credit report to see Mbna has
All of 2010' 2 months of 2009 and three months of 2011 coming up as late payment.

All payments was DD set up :/

But what I find odd (maybe its not) on the little boxes it states
7 of the months coming up as twice late payment

ie October 2010 has a 2 in it.

Do I contact the company to get these off? And do they indeed take them off?

This is killing us getting a mortgage.

Plus just seen that all of those dates on the form has no payment on the report?
Surely this is wrong?

Comments

  • If it was paid by DD, seems wrong.

They can remove them if they are incorrect.

Best call them up, find out what's going on, then when you know, write to them to confirm what was agreed on the phone.

You have access to statements for those periods?

So didn't they claim the payment? Or did they try and it was bounced due to insufficient funds?

Was he amassing late payment fees and/or overlimit fees as well during this period

The number denotes the number of months his payments were in arrears.

Are they an accurate reflection of his payments? If they are, they'll stay on there.

Are you referring to the month by month balance/payment history that lenders now report?
