Just a little heads up. If you are leaving O2 and they promise you they have definitely cancelled your account and everything is absolutely complete, don't believe them!!!!!!
Another £65.36 has mysteriously left my bank account and made it's way over to O2's. What a coinky-dink. Quite lucky I checked before I went to do the food shop!
Thanks O2, another sterling performance.

When you cancel your broadband account with them, a while after everything is cancelled the billing system generates a final pro rata bill.
The amount seems rather high though. Did you return your router? All your base are belong to us.0 -
I don't have broadband with them. I have a mobile phone contract that was coming to the end of a 24 month term and I found a much cheaper deal. In MSE spirit, I sat down and worked out how much it would cost me to pay off the rest of my contract early and start the much cheaper contract earlier, and it worked out that I would save myself about a tenner. So I went for it. The £65 is the disconnection bill that was generated by leaving early, which I was aware about and fine with. What I'm not fine with is them taking that amount out of my account for a second time 2 weeks later!
My bank's phone line are closed today so I can't even start the process of trying to get the transaction reversed.First home purchased 09/08/2013
