Bankrupt & about to become a student

Hey just wondered if anyones knows if you can apply for a student bank account if you have declared yourself bankrupt??

You will get a better response if you ask this in the 'Bankruptcy & Living With It' sub forum or in the Current Account forum. There are some 'real' experts answering questions there.

No you will not get a student account.
In fact most banks will turn you away full stop.
When you are discharged you might get a basic account.0 -
Thanks guys - was discharged a year ago now and already have a basic bank account so was hoping that might make the difference because I guess Im not a proper bankruptee now. Will have a look at Bankrupt & living with it forum. Thanks again0
