CCJ Black Horse! Help please!

Hi all,

Back in 2005 i defaulted on car finance from Black Horse which resulted in me sending the car back to them, and i was left with £8000 to pay back and a CCJ. I started paying them back at £50 per month and then increased to £100 per month once my financial situation improved.

I was expecting this to be removed from my credit file in 2011. However, i have recently checked my credit file and seen i have a new CCJ from them for the same loan, issued May 2012. I have called them and it was due to me not giving them an up to date finacial statement! Obviously i am very annoyed at this as i have never missed a monthly payment to them!

Can this CCJ be contested or am i just wasting my time?

Thanks and sorry if the above is badly worded!

They are not allowed to do two CCJs for the same debt. Cheeky ####ers. Contest it.

For a second ccj it should have gone back to court. If you contact the courts you should be able to get it set aside if you had no prior knowledge to this, you can enter a defence if they 're apply.

If you speak to the courts they are usually very helpful. I also contact national debt line also.
Wow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p
It is not illegal to open another persons mail unless you intend to commit fraud - this is frequently incorrectly posted:)
    I live in my head - I find it's safer there:p

    Deffo do that.

HP debts and CCJs for possession of a vehicle or the debt itself can be odd so definitely need some professional advice from National Debtline.
