Morning all
Hubby needs a new satnav. He has an ancient Tomtom which hasn't had a voice for the past few years (failed under warranty, they wanted him to send it away for repair, but he didn't bother) and which is now having trouble charging up. So he wants a new one but doesn't know whether it really is worth paying top dollar for a Tomtom/Garmin, or if the cheaper brands work as well?
We found this on ebay....

but noticed that the seller is Chinese, operating from Canada (despite stating that he has "UK Stock")
We probably wouldn't buy it from this seller, we've had past experience of waiting weeks for delivery etc, but does anyone have a cheap satnav that they're happy with and that they've bought in the UK?
Thanks!

If he has a smartphone there are many free satnav apps or a paid for Tomtom version
All he needs us a cradle for the phone in the car and maybe an in car chargerEx forum ambassador

That looks like an Android tablet to me rather than a dedicated sat nav.0
