Afternoon all,
Well hasn't it been another pretty lovely day? Some sunshine, bit breezy but quite mild. Here's hoping Spring is springing
Went with DH to look at another car this morning. Why do the descriptions and the photos make the cars look reasonable but when you get there they look like they have been driven through a hedge backwards?!
Came back from there and I made a cup of tea cake and DH papered the wall in the Lounge. I think it looks lovely, fresh and bright, all DH does is keeps moaning about 'how rubbish the paper is' and picking on all the faults. I don't know why he is so bothered, no one will see what he sees.
Not sure what is for tea tonight, will have to have a scrabble about later.0 -
Evening all (or as Sheldon Cooper would call it, 'Prevening'),
My Grandson woke me up at 5.30 for a feed and went back to sleep till 8.30. All in all I slept well but I'm still tired. Reason being i was looking at leather sofas till 1am. Anyway, a 3 and 2 seater pair of sofas was purchased this afternoon I'm happy to say. Hubby is thinking of buying a new car and knew i wouldn't be very pleased if the new car came before the sofas as he's been promising to replace ours for months. He cant plead poverty if he's thinking of changing the car just months after buying the one he has.
Popped in to see the Outlaws. Hubbys brother in law is repeating himself a lot but i suppose its to be expected as he is 73. I haven't seen him for months, the difference in him shook me. Sister in law was having a pyjama day. Good to see, i wont feel so bad now when they come round and I'm still in my night clothes.:D
Forgot to say, yesterday I have received my first invitation to have a mammogram. Its not for a month and of course I am taking up the invitation but I cant say I'm looking forward to having my boobs squashed in between 2 metal plates.

DH and I had a lovely meal last night and then we went out with friends until 1pm
.
DS was ready to send the search party out for us and was waiting up when we got in :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I love it when the tables are turned ;D
Needless to say burrefry was a ickle bit jaded this morning, still we don't do it often and DH really enjoyed himself.
Very blowy and wet here at the moment and it has turned really chilly, looks like Piers Corbyn was bang on about the forecast again.
I have podiatry tomorrow and then we need to go and get a column switch for the car, I must not forget to book it in for the MOT either. My memory is rubbish so I must write it down now
(((Hugs))) for all poorlies or those who just need one xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
