Singapore airlines go MAN-(Muc)-SIN-AKL if you prefer to go that way.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

The cheap airline companies will let you book your preferred flight, then switch you to a cheaper flight so that they make money and say the flight times have changed.
Either book with the airline or a reputable agent and do it over the phone so it is booked there and then for you.0 -
we definitely found ebookers cheaper than going direct (Cathay pacific)0

Ours wasn't a cheap airline, it was a full service scheduled airline on a long haul flight. The problem was that we had 2 connections and had booked early so the schedules changed in the interim.0 -
I have occasionally found my flights cheaper with netflights but they are always a different fare class. I have never had a problem with them changing my flights. but mostly I prefer to book with the airlinestravelover0

Do you get the same results with matrix ita software ?
Matrix ita is showing the same prices as the airlines, around £1300. Kayak and its agents are showing returns for £980.
Weirdly the one way price has decreased by around £600 and is now showing at £700 (the Munich, Singapore route richardw) so more options become affordable now
Thanks everyone of the opinions and experiences, I will google any travel agent for complaints before I book and only if they are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper will I go ahead
I'm still unclear HOW they can be that much cheaper :think:0
