Shower intermittently cutting out

Hello,
We have a RedRing Plus 95 Electrical shower and for the past few weeks its been cutting out while in use. At first it was maybe once every few showers progressively getting worse to many times each shower. It doesn't actually trip in the fuse box but it does lose power at the shower at the light goes off at the mains pull string bit.
I guess with these things its how long is a piece of string but is there any more than likely problem? I don;t want to buy a new shower for it to start cutting out also.
Any advice welcome.
Martin.
