Cashing in US Shares
Goodjob
My wife has some shares in a US company which are traded in $. What is the most effective way of cashing them in? I've worked out it would be cheaper to get a $ cheque for the broker and then get my bank to convert, but is there anything else I need to consider or a better option.
Thanks
Thanks

What stock is it? How are they held? Are the restricted? Are the listed on an exchange or OTC?
Most US equities will be listed in USD's but the market maker will deal them in Sterling if broker requests it.0 -
They are shares in Oracle. They are listed on the Nasdaq and the broker deals with them in dollars. The broker can convert but the charges are higher thanmy bank.__________________________________________________
