Yes, but it was broke, wasn't it? Countless numbers of people have posted that they didn't get orders due to things going OOS before despatch. M&S promised a new live stock system so hopefully that has been introduced with the changed layout.
Didn't know this, the problems is that it is so different to the old site and is hard to adjust, pity they couldn't make it similar.0 -
embrace the change. it would have been a complete waste of their time and money to make it just look 'similiar'. the new site looks much more professional. m&s couldn't just sit around in 'complacent land' whole everyone else moved on.0

I find that it is too wide for my screen and that the writing is scrunched up, no matter how I try to adjust it. Also, it is annoying that I can't check recent orders (yet). I wanted to look at it in reference to a cancelled TopCashback transaction.0

Surely it can't be any worse than it already was? I gave up on it a long time ago - but mainly because of the overpricing, coupled with frequent 'sales' when they never managed to deliver what was ordered.0

Believe me, it is worse (for me anyway) than it was. I have to scroll to the right to be able to see much of the information and there is no way I can see the whole screen at the same time, even by adjusting the zoom etc. I never had any real problems (in comparison anyway) and have now been quite put off by these changes. I am hoping they will sort it out.0 -

M&S seem to have entirely lost the ability to run a modern business - they appear to be living in the past, possibly because they don't have the resources to sort things out properly, and just go from bad to worse. Rather like the clothes. Their clientele is mainly older people (very few younger people would be seen dead there) and as those older people die, the customer base gets smaller and smaller.
The only decently performing part of the business is the food side, and they can't even get that right! Not enough stores (outside the London area) where people can get at them by car, so they lose the trade to Waitrose, and no internet orders, so they lose that to Waitrose as well!
And now they've dropped down to 3rd in the Which? Best Supermarket Guide - beaten by Waitrose and Aldi.
How long before there's a takeover bid from bidders who think they can do a better job of running this failing giant? As the Guardian said recently, 'Next makes Marks & Spencer look increasingly frumpy' - and Next are likely to make bigger profits in 2014 than M&S!0 -
I had high hopes of an improved website, but it's running incredibly slowly and there's text overlaid on text (accident, not cool design) so it's illegible.0
