    Ooooh I hadn't thought of picking up saffron while we are there - will make sure I bring some back :)

    Lots of the smaller shops, Spar etc, as well as the Supermarkets have hot, cooked chickens for a couple of quid, 2 of them, some crusty bread and a bit of salad add a few cans of local booze for a nice relaxed meal on your patio/balcony for well under a tenner.
