I have a current account with the Halifax, which for various reasons I don`t want to close. (good service not being one of them)
No problem then, we only had a joint acc with Santander. My main income is paid into the joint acc and our other income is paid into our Lloyd's joint acc with £500 transferred by SO into my Wife's 123 account then any monies over £20,000 transferred to our joint 123 acc.0 -

When setting the SO for the 123 account, is it better to set it for every four weeks rather than say, the 2nd of every month?0 -
-
Assuming you are talking about paying in the monthly £500 that you wish to make by SO: it would be best to do it on a specific day, about a week after your account opening day. That way you can be sure that the monthly payment happens within your account month.0
